Wikipedia states “a red herring is “a is a clue which is intentionally or unintentionally misleading or distracting from the actual issue”. So as it would seem red herrings are completely unnecessary and pointless. The truth is… they are. But on the other hand they can be freaking awesome. If you see a red freaking fish why would you not be enticed by it? Could you leave out such an amazing detail as this? Life was never too interesting to me as a practice. But as a story, it’s amazing. I have always felt that life had some awesome things and I never needed anybody to tell me otherwise. Many of these things could be defined as a red herring. But they are some of my favorite parts.
It’s a kind of poetry in a way. You might not look at something as interesting. Somebody else might think it’s interesting. If I looked for everything, I wouldn’t find it. Yet If I look for anything, it’s always in front of me.
What do you guys think (not that I care).
I probably sound crazy to you guys (is there something wrong with that). But I could write better greeting cards than those losers are hallmark.
This post is a red herring.
ha ha I like that like a fish likes a bicycle
fish do love bicycles, don’t they?
I have always loved that quote ‘ a woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle’ it has a good history to it
good history? is there some sort of story I’m missing out on about a fish and a bicycle?
yeah I believe it came from a feminist movement I goggled it the other day, because I’m thinking of using it later
we’d all be living in caves if it weren’t for google.
I think that the red herring in this post is actually your comment that this post is a red herring.
